NoteBoard Connection

When you use your NoteBoard with your laptop, you will also probably want to connect up an external mouse. 

As most laptops only have a single PS/2 port (which is usually dual function) there is a solution.

You can use a laptop splitter cable ( or PS/2 "Y" cable) to enable you to connect both your NoteBoard and a PS/2 mouse to the one laptop PS/2 port.  These cables are commonly available from PC accessories stores.

An other alternative, is to use a serial mouse, connected  to the serial port on your laptop, or a PS/2 to serial adaptor on your PS/2 mouse to enable it to then be connected to the serial port.
