The New LittleFingers Deluxe USB enables all of the useability features of the original LittleFingers, but now with a USB interface. 

Like the LittleFingers Deluxe, lower case letters are featured on the key caps.

Also, the important  “dual-mode” feature, allowing a second or adult-sized keyboard to be plugged into LittleFingers™ via its on-keyboard USB Port, or separately, and used simultaneously, is retained.

(Note: use of the on-keyboard USB port is subject to normal current limitations for USB devices.)

Note on LF USB. This product is intended primarily for the iMac market and has Apple specific keys, rather than the Apple/Win keys on the other LittleFingers models.

 The unit will operate on a Windows system, with some restrictions:

• The Apple Command key (green key) operates as the WIN key.

• The Option key (orange key) operates as the ALT key.

• Using fn and Option, acts as the Windows MENU key.

The major restriction is that it is not possible to effect a CTL-ALT-DEL to restart the system or change logon under Windows NT or 2000. When the intended usage - younger children - is considered, this could be considered a feature rather than a restriction. This command can be completed by a second adult size keyboard connected in dual-mode.

For people intending to use the keyboard with a Windows system, the PS/2 Deluxe is a better option. Why waste a USB port on a keyboard if you have a PS/2 port available?
