Little
Fingers Children's Keyboard 3 - 8 years US$99.95 |
|
A great concept—the first keyboard to fit the hands of kids. This new toy will help your child to learn computer skills and to practice touch typing. This keyboard is designed to allow children to easily reach all the keys—they will not have to hunt and peck on a keyboard that's designed for adults. This is a full function keyboard, a rugged track ball that eliminates a separate mouse and that allows a child to type, point and click without moving their hands. It is also set up so there's a dual mode that allows a second adult-sized keyboard to be plugged in and to be used simultaneously. Normally, two keyboards cannot be used on a PC. This allows the parent or teacher to work side by side with the child for teaching, and to assist in joint computer activities. Now the whole family can enjoy the computer together. This keyboard is compatible for Macintosh and IBM PCs.
Dr Toy awards are assigned by by The Institute for Childhood Resources (USA), a not-for-profit organisation.
One of their lists is the best 100 Toys, which consists of the ten best toys in each of ten categories. The LittleFingers keyboard has been included in the category of Best Software/High-Tech Products.
