The environment is a field which is both rich and fascinating but which in the past was too often neglected or presented in an overly didactic way. Yet it is the understanding and integration of new types of behaviour by children of today that will determine the decisive actions of tomorrow in favour of Life on Earth.

This is what motivated the creation of Bioviva, the new educational game about the environment that will carry you off to discover the incredible story of our planet Earth.

The conception of Bioviva was based on four fundamental principals of 
Fun, Communication, Free Thinking and Scientific Fact

Fun: Educational activities built around games set the stage for the involvement of young people. This is why Bioviva is above all an original and amusing game. Game professionals have highlighted this by voting Bioviva the Best New Talent at the International Toy Show in Paris in 1997.

Bioviva combines fun and useful lessons by developing a sense of respect for Life and Citizenship of our Planet in an atmosphere of conviviality.

Communication: A group game should be a real meeting place. Thanks to Bioviva, members of different generations can communicate as equals, united in a fun activity which captivates young and old alike.

In addition, Bioviva encourages players to co-operate. It develops the fun of sharing, and a player who knows fewer correct answers is not excluded. This atmosphere allows the player to feel appreciated and accepted.

Playing is a fundamental activity which does not necessarily require winning - Bioviva leads to a conclusion rather than a winner.

Free Thinking: The design of Bioviva is based on the fun of learning in a free environment. Environmental awareness is sparked without being preached. This is a requisite condition for the participant to start taking the initiative naturally without any constraint.

Scientific Fact: Bioviva is the fruit of more than a year of scientific and pedagogical research by a young agro-biologist fascinated by the environment. Bioviva is also the first game recommended by the French Ministry of the Environment, integrated into the international environmental programs of UNESCO, and supported by eminent scientists.

The multi-disciplinary and global approach developed in Bioviva allows the players to discover Life in all its diversity through varied approaches, be they biological, geographic, or ethical.
